الكويت: إطلاق نظام إقامة يمتد حتى 15 عاما بشروط محددة
أعلنت الكويت عن إطار تنظيمي جديد يتيح الحصول على إقامة تصل مدتها إلى 15 عاماً، للمستثمرين الأجانب المؤهلين وأفراد أسرهم المباشرين في خطوة تستهدف تعزيز بيئة الاستثمار وجذب رؤوس الأموال الأجنبية.
وقالت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية، بالتعاون مع الإدارة العامة لشؤون الإقامة وهيئة تشجيع الاستثمار المباشر، إن القرار يشمل مالكي الكيانات الاستثمارية المرخصة، والشركاء المعتمدين، وأفراد أسرهم المباشرين المؤهلين، إضافة إلى الفئة التنفيذية العليا.
ووفقاً للضوابط الجديدة، يتعين على الكيانات المرخصة من هيئة تشجيع الاستثمار المباشر الحفاظ على استثمارات لا تقل قيمتها عن 5 ملايين دينار كويتي، مع الاستمرار في مزاولة النشاط الفعلي داخل الكويت والالتزام بالحد الأدنى المقرر لتوظيف المواطنين الكويتيين.
كما تشترط اللوائح الجديدة ألا يقل رأس المال عن مليون دينار كويتي بالنسبة للأنشطة الاستثمارية المعتمدة، ضمن معايير تهدف إلى استقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية طويلة الأجل.
