الأمم المتحدة..” غزة على حافة المجاعة”
أصدرت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) تحذيرا عاجلا، الجمعة، بسبب التناقص السريع للإمدادات الأساسية في قطاع غزة، حيث تقترب الظروف الإنسانية من مستويات كارثية.
وقالت مديرة الاتصالات في الوكالة جولييت توما في بيان على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إن أسعار السلع الأساسية ارتفعت بشكل كبير في الأسابيع الأخيرة، نتيجة للحصار الإسرائيلي المستمر على القطاع.
وأكدت توما أن “الرضع والأطفال يعانون سوء التغذية الشديد، حيث تقترب غزة من حالة من الجوع الشديد”.
ودعت إلى استئناف مفاوضات وقف إطلاق النار على الفور، ورفع القيود والوصول دون عوائق للشحنات الإنسانية والتجارية.
ولا تزال جميع المعابر إلى غزة مغلقة أمام الشحنات الإنسانية والتجارية منذ 2 مارس الماضي، ووصفت الأمم المتحدة الإغلاق الحالي بأنه أطول إغلاق مستمر منذ أكتوبر 2023.
كما أعربت اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر عن قلقها بشأن وصول المساعدات، وأكدت في بيان، الجمعة، أنها لم تتلق أي إخطارات رسمية بشأن فتح معابر غزة لإمدادات الإغاثة.
وجددت اللجنة مناشدتها للسماح بالوصول الإنساني العاجل للمساعدات، لتجنب المزيد من التدهور في حياة المدنيين.
