رويترز: احتمال استئناف المفاوضات الأميركية الإيرانية في إسلام آباد هذا الأسبوع
أفادت 4 مصادر مطلعة بأن فريقي التفاوض الأميركي والإيراني من المقرر أن يعودا إلى العاصمة الباكستانية، إسلام آباد، في وقت لاحق من هذا الأسبوع لاستئناف المحادثات.
وقالت المصادر لوكالة “رويترز” إن “فريقا التفاوض الأميركي والإيراني سيعودان في وقت لاحق من هذا الأسبوع إلى إسلام آباد لإجراء محادثات سلام”.
وفي وقت سابق، اقترحت باكستان استضافة جولة ثانية من المحادثات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران في إسلام آباد، خلال الأيام المقبلة، قبل انتهاء وقف إطلاق النار، وفق ما قاله مسؤولان باكستانيان.
وأوضح المسؤولان، أن هذا المقترح سيعتمد على ما إذا كان الطرفان سيطلبان عقد اللقاء في مكان مختلف.
وقال أحد المسؤولين إنه رغم انتهاء الجولة الأولى دون اتفاق، فإن تلك المحادثات تعد جزءا من عملية دبلوماسية مستمرة وليست محاولة لمرة واحدة.
وأجرى مسؤولون أميركيون يتقدمهم نائب الرئيس جي دي فانس، وإيرانيون يقودهم رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، محادثات سلام في باكستان استمرت 21 ساعة وانتهت من دون تحقيق نتيجة، وذلك بالتزامن مع هدنة لأسبوعين.
وبعد تعثر جولة المفاوضات، أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب تشديد الضغوط على طهران عبر فرض حصار على مضيق هرمز، في خطوة وصفها مراقبون بأنها تصعيد كبير يهدف إلى انتزاع تنازلات إيرانية في الملف النووي.
