دراسة جديدة..حبر الوشم قد يؤدي للإصابة بسرطان الجلد
شهدت السنوات الأخيرة انتشارًا لافتًا لفنّ الوشم في العالم العربي، ولا سيما في لبنان، حيث بات يُنظر إليه كمساحة حرة للتعبير عن الذات أو رمز عاطفي دائم. غير أنّ هذا الفن الذي اعتُبر طويلًا خيارًا جماليًا بسيطًا، بدأ يدخل اليوم دائرة النقاش العلمي، خصوصًا بعد دراسة جديدة لجامعة لوند السويدية تشير إلى احتمال ارتفاع خطر الإصابة بـ سرطان الميلانوما لدى أصحاب الوشم.
هذه الدراسة تأتي ضمن سلسلة أبحاث متزايدة تبحث في تأثير أحبار الوشم داخل الجسم. ففي العام الماضي، كشفت دراسة أخرى للجامعة نفسها عن احتمال ارتباط الوشم بسرطان الغدد الليمفاوية. ومع تراكم النتائج، يُطرح السؤال الطبيعي: هل يمكن أن يترك الوشم أثرًا صحيًا أعمق مما يظهر على سطح البشرة؟
نتائج الدراسة: ارتفاع ملحوظ في احتمالات الإصابة
اعتمد الباحثون على تحليل بيانات آلاف المرضى المصابين بسرطان الجلد بين سنّ 20 و60 عامًا. وقد تبيّن أنّ:
22٪ من المصابين بالميلانوما يحملون وشمًا
مقابل 20٪ فقط في المجموعة غير المصابة
وبعد ضبط عوامل مثل التعرض للشمس والعوامل الوراثية ونمط الحياة، تبيّن أنّ احتمال الإصابة يرتفع بنحو 29٪ لدى أصحاب الوشم.
ويرجّح العلماء أن بعض أحبار الوشم تتفاعل مع الشمس أو الليزر، مما يؤدي إلى إنتاج مركّبات غير صحية، بعضها سبق أن أُثير حوله جدل عالمي لامتلاكه خصائص مسرطنة. كما أظهرت دراسات أخرى انتقال جزيئات الحبر عبر الجهاز اللمفاوي إلى الغدد الليمفاوية، ما يطرح تساؤلات حول آثار تراكمها على المدى الطويل.
الوضع في لبنان: انتشار واسع ورقابة محدودة
رغم غياب أرقام رسمية حول عدد أصحاب الوشم في لبنان، فإن المؤشرات الاجتماعية تؤكد أنّ الظاهرة آخذة في الاتساع، خصوصًا بين الشباب. وتزداد المخاوف مع وجود مئات الصالونات غير الخاضعة لرقابة صارمة، ما يجعل مصدر الحبر وجودته مسألة بالغة الأهمية.
عالميًا، تتراوح نسب انتشار الوشم بين 25٪ و30٪ في أوروبا والولايات المتحدة، بينما تُقدّر نسبته في الدول العربية عمومًا بين 10٪ و20٪، وهي نسبة في ارتفاع مستمر بفعل تأثير منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
أربع نصائح أساسية يجب الانتباه لها
سواء كنت تحمل وشمًا أو تفكر في رسم واحد، تبقى هذه النقاط محورية:
نوع الحبر هو الخطر الحقيقي: بعض الأحبار تحتوي على معادن ثقيلة وصبغات تتحلل عند التعرض للشمس وتُنتج مواد قد تكون ضارة.
النظافة والتعقيم ضرورة لا رفاهية: الصالونات غير المرخّصة قد تعرّض الزبون لالتهابات جلدية أو عدوى بكتيرية وفيروسية.
التعرض للشمس يزيد المخاطر: الأشعة فوق البنفسجية قد تسهم في تفكيك جزيئات الحبر وإطلاق مركّبات غير مرغوبة داخل الجلد.
المتابعة الطبية واجبة: ظهور بقعة جديدة، تغيّر في لون الجلد أو أي نمو غير طبيعي يستدعي مراجعة فورية للطبيب.
بين الجمال والصحة.. مساحة يجب عدم تجاهلها
لا تهدف الدراسات الحديثة إلى إثارة الهلع، بل إلى فتح باب الوعي. فالوشم، مهما بدا بسيطًا، هو إدخال مواد غريبة إلى الجسم ستظل فيه سنوات طويلة. ومع أن الغالبية قد لا تواجه مشاكل صحية، إلا أن العلم يشير بوضوح إلى ضرورة الحذر والمتابعة.
قبل اتخاذ قرار بوشم جديد، من الأفضل إجراء بحث وافٍ حول الحبر، الصالون، وأساليب التعقيم. فبين التعبير عن الذات والحفاظ على الصحة… مساحة دقيقة تستحقّ أن نأخذها على محمل الجد.
