دول عربية تتصدر قائمة الهجرة إلى أمريكا..التفاصيل
تواصل إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي، دونالد ترامب، فرض قيود مشددة على سياسات الهجرة، فخلال الأشهر الثمانية الأولى من توليه الحكم، أطلقت الإدارة سلسلة قرارات أعادت تشكيل النظام
الهجري الأمريكي، شملت تشديد القواعد الخاصة بتأشيرات الطلاب والعمال الأجانب، ورفع رسوم تأشيرات H-1B المخصصة للمهنيين، كما قلّصت الإدارة بشكل كبير برنامج قبول اللاجئين، مع
استثناء محدود لمتقدمين من أصول أوروبية جنوبية.
وأظهرت بيانات وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية لعام 2024، بحسب شبكة CNN الأمريكية، أن عدد تأشيرات الهجرة إلى الولايات المتحدة بلغ نحو 612 ألف تأشيرة، وهو رقم يعكس إجمالي التأشيرات
الممنوحة قبل وصول إدارة ترامب إلى السلطة.
وتتيح هذه التأشيرات لحامليها الإقامة والعمل الدائمين في الولايات المتحدة، وتُمنح على أساس القرابة العائلية، أو فرص العمل أو اللجوء أو ضمن برنامج الهجرة المتنوعة.
عربياً، تصدّرت اليمن قائمة الدول الحاصلة على أكبر عدد من تأشيرات الهجرة إلى الولايات المتحدة خلال عام 2024، بنحو 6.4 آلاف تأشيرة، تلتها مصر بحوالي 6.1 آلاف، ثم الأردن بـ 4.7 آلاف
تأشيرة، فيما حلت قطر في المرتبة 16 بحوالي 292 تأشيرة.
