ديلي تلغراف: تفكير أمريكي بتجنيد عصابات نهب وجريمة ومخدرات لتشكيل شرطة غزة الجديدة
ذكرت صحيفة ديلي تلغراف في تقرير أعده هنري بودكين أن الولايات المتحدة تدرس خطة تقضي بالاعتماد على عناصر من ميليشيات مسلحة في قطاع غزة لتشكيل قوة أمنية جديدة، في خطوة أثارت قلق عدد من المسؤولين الأمريكيين وحلفاء غربيين.
وبحسب ما نقلته الصحيفة عن مسؤولين غربيين، فإن إدارة دونالد ترامب قدمت مقترحات لإنشاء قوة شرطة محلية تضم عدداً كبيراً من أفراد ميليشيات مناهضة لحركة حماس، في إطار ترتيبات أمنية محتملة داخل القطاع.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن إسرائيل، التي يُعتقد أنها تدعم المقترحات الأمريكية، قامت منذ اندلاع حرب غزة عقب هجمات 7 أكتوبر 2023، بتسليح ودعم بعض هذه الفصائل المسلحة.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن فكرة إشراك عناصر من هذه الميليشيات ضمن قوة حفظ سلام مدعومة من الولايات المتحدة قوبلت بمعارضة من قيادات أمريكية بارزة، وسط مخاوف تتعلق بخلفيات تلك المجموعات.
ووفق التقرير، فإن بعض هذه الميليشيات، التي تشكلت على أسس عائلية، لها ارتباطات موثقة منذ سنوات بالجريمة المنظمة، في وقت يعبر فيه مدنيون داخل قطاع غزة عن انعدام ثقة عميق تجاهها. كما وُجهت إلى بعض عناصرها في الأشهر الأخيرة اتهامات بنهب شاحنات مساعدات إنسانية، فضلاً عن التورط في عمليات قتل وخطف
