غرينلاند ليست للبيع.. الآلاف يشاركون في مسيرة لمواجهة تهديدات ترامب
سار الآلاف من سكان غرينلاند بحذر فوق الثلوج والجليد لاتخاذ موقف ضد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب يوم السبت. وحملوا لافتات احتجاجية، ولوحوا بعلمهم الوطني وهتفوا “غرينلاند ليست للبيع” دعما لحكمهم الذاتي في مواجهة تهديدات واشنطن المتزايدة بالاستيلاء على الجزيرة.
وبمجرد انتهاء مسيرتهم من وسط مدينة نوك، عاصمة غرينلاند، إلى القنصلية الأميركية، انتشر الخبر: أعلن ترامب، من منزله في فلوريدا، أنه سيفرض رسوما جمركية بنسبة 10% بدءا من فبراير على السلع الواردة من 8 دول أوروبية بسبب معارضتها للسيطرة الأميركية على غرينلاند.
وقال ماليك دوليروب-شيبل بعد أن أخبرته وكالة أسوشيتد برس بإعلان ترامب: “ظننت أن هذا اليوم لا يمكن أن يزداد سوءا، لكنه ازداد سوءا بالفعل. هذا يدل على أنه لا يشعر بأي ندم تجاه أي إنسان الآن”.
ولطالما صرح ترامب بأنه يعتقد أن الولايات المتحدة يجب أن تمتلك الجزيرة ذات الموقع الاستراتيجي والغنية بالمعادن، والتي تعد إقليماً يتمتع بالحكم الذاتي تابعاً للدنمارك
وكثف ترامب دعواته بعد يوم واحد من العملية العسكرية للإطاحة بالرئيس الفنزويلي السابق نيكولاس مادورو في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر.
وكان دوليروب-شيبل، 21 عاما، ورئيس وزراء غرينلاند ينس فريدريك نيلسن من بين المشاركين فيما وصفه آخرون بأنه أكبر احتجاج تشهده الجزيرة، حيث جذب ما يقرب من ربع سكان نوك.
ونظم آخرون مسيرات تضامنية في أنحاء مملكة الدنمارك، بما في ذلك كوبنهاغن، وكذلك في عاصمة إقليم نونافوت الذي يحكمه الإنويت في أقصى شمال كندا
