أثارت شهادة أحد المواطنين المعروفين بمدينة القنيطرة موجة من الاستغراب، بعدما أكد أنه طُلب منه أداء مبلغ 2000 درهم مقابل إدراج اسمه ضمن لائحة المكرمين في أحد الحفلات، مضيفاً أن عدداً من الأشخاص الآخرين دفعوا مبالغ مالية أيضاً من أجل نيل التكريم.
وفي حال ثبوت صحة هذه المعطيات، فإن الأمر يشكل إساءة لقيمة التكريم، ويفرغه من معناه النبيل، ليصبح وسيلة لتحقيق مكاسب مادية بدل الاحتفاء الحقيقي بالكفاءات والطاقات التي تستحق الاعتراف بعطائها.
وأمام خطورة هذه الادعاءات، يبقى من الضروري فتح تحقيق في الموضوع، وكشف حقيقة ما جرى، وترتيب المسؤوليات عند الاقتضاء، حفاظاً على مصداقية المبادرات المدنية والثقافية، وصوناً لقيمة التكريم من كل الممارسات التي قد تسيء إليها.
فالتكريم رسالة تقدير واستحقاق، وليس سلعة تُعرض للبيع لمن يدفع أكثر او استغلالها من اجل مصالح شخصية.
